Suggestion: Carry back all the glass/plastic wastes and dispose the same in a proper bin. Caution may be exercised for leaving any valuables in you vehicle. Do not venture unless you are in a large group of people. This place is haunted by anti social elements. There have been cases of robbery.

Synopsis:

A place in Kolar district full of hillocks with numerous bouldering opportunities. The other attraction of this place are few Temples where there is no end to the water streaming out of the barren rocky area. Though the top of the hillocks can be reached by a newly constructed road. One has to take deviation before reaching Kolar for this road. Antaragange probably got it name by the water found in large quantity on the rocky hillocks.

How to Reach:

Antaragange is about 70 Kms from Bangalore. Take the Old Madras Road, though its a straight road ahead, there could be few confusing turns, but whenever you are in doubt, turn to left. At about 45 km from Bangalore, you will reach Kamat Restaurant. From here, Kolar town is another 20 km. After reaching Kolar bus stand, take a left and go 4 km further to reach Antaragange.
