Synopsis:

Bhadra river is located in Chikmaglur district of Karnataka. The river flows through the city of Bhadravathi and the Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary. A dam was built across the river near Lakkavalli. Bhadra river meets the Tunga river at Koodli, a small town near Shivamogga. The combined rivers continues east as the Tungabhadra, a major tributary of the Krishna river.
