Synopsis:

Mullayanagiri is located in Chikkamagaluru district and is the highest peak in Karnataka. With a height of 1,930 metres (6,330 ft), it is the highest peak between the Himalayas and the Nilgiris. There is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva atop the mountain. A cave and a Nandi statue are at walkable distance from the temple. It is a trekkers paradise and often clubbed with Baba Budangiri for trekking.

How to Reach:

Mullayanagiri is 265km from Bangalore. Travel from Bangalore -> Kunigal -> Hassan -> Belur -> Chickamagalur -> Mullayanagiri.
